Bardstown Bourbon Company spent years as one of Kentucky's most respected contract distillers before releasing a drop under their own name. The Origin Series was worth the wait. A high-rye mash bill — 60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley — aged six years and bottled at 96 proof, it's the distillery's clearest statement of intent: classic bourbon structure with a spice-forward edge that keeps things honest. Caramel, stone fruit, and toasted oak on the palate; a long, peppery finish. Drinks beautifully neat, and holds its own in an Old Fashioned without complaint.
