Founded in 2017 on Scotland's remote Morvern Peninsula by Annabel Thomas, Nc'nean built its distillery around a simple conviction: that making exceptional whisky and caring genuinely about the planet are not competing ambitions. The only fully organic working whisky distillery in Scotland, it runs on 100% renewable energy, bottles in 100% recycled glass, and carries B Corp and net zero certification. The ethics are real, not decorative.

The whisky earns its place on the shelf independently. Organic Scottish barley, gently distilled to preserve natural fruit character, then matured across STR red wine casks, ex-bourbon barrels, and a touch of Oloroso sherry. The result is fragrant and generous — citrus, peach, apricot, and warm spice — with a creamy mouthfeel and a finish that lingers longer than you expect. 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, natural colour.
