The follow-up to the sell-out success of Edition One, this second release once again showcases Waubs Harbour’s creative edge. Crafted in collaboration with local brewers Tom and Phil of Bicheno Beer Co, their Imperial Stout was first aged in ex-Waubs whisky casks before those same casks were refilled with Waubs’ own new make spirit. Beginning its journey in ex-Tawny Port before finishing in stout-soaked oak, the whisky emerges as a rich, layered single malt with a bold coastal character. Bottled at a robust 59% ABV, non-chill filtered, with only 618 bottles produced — a limited release that will disappear as quickly as the first.
