Hunter Island Distillery uses Tasmania’s optimal climate conditions and premium raw ingredients to create whisky inspired by the great tradition of Ireland. Hunter Island Tasmanian Pot Still Whisky is created from a mixed mash bill containing oats, malted and unmalted barley, and has been distilled three times in copper pot stills by Damian Mackey who has been making triple distilled whisky in Tasmania for two decades. Hunter Island Whisky is matured in fine oak casks and is defined by rich and spice-filled flavours, viscous mouthfeel, and deep characters.
